Can anyone tell me what this impending telephone review is for in relation to ESA claim. Job Centre Plus phoned earlier but my husband asked them to call again (today) as I was out and he gets confused easily over this sort of stuff. Recently been asked to send in my own payslips which don't really have a bearing on his claim as he is contribution based support group. What are they up to now?

It seems like it is a check of your husbands benefit "to make sure he is getting the right benefit", I am afraid that we cannot pre-empt the content of the phone call, but providing you have informed the DWP of any Change of Circumstances, there should not be an issue.
You should be able speak on behalf of your husband, although he may need to answer the security questions and authorise you to do so.
