Hi again to all,
Firstly should make clear typing for my friend as her claim but due to SLE photosensitivity can't be in front of PC screen ,UV lights etc.
As previously mentioned very quick f2f date following application just two and a half weeks Capita automatic home visit for 9 o,clock. All guides printed off and read thought OK can do this. Then sick kids meant had to have assessment alone.Turned up early with laptop and started straight in that due to so many complex illnesses to crack on.Completely thrown and having to cover up as whoever she wasdidnt show I'd!and needed light on or wouldn't do assessment .Curtains were open but suppose a little dim natural light at 8.40am so on it went.Question after question regarding how each illness affected me and how each medication side effect and who did what and how.My friend ended up just wanting her to go and finally after many ( so the minimum you can walk is ? And how did you say you do the shopping ?3rd time of asking) she finally shut her laptop said decision in 6to 8 weeks and I can let myself out switching light off on way out left my friend dumbstruck and shattered! The assessor was no way rude or annoyed just so persistent for 2 and a half hours and then Gone!!!!
Have no idea how it went as best laid plans and all that but is this normal? Will let you know desicion and just Thanks for being their to listen to all our Help ,what on earth life moments.

I've given up trying to second guess whether an assessment will lead to an award, the important thing is that it is over and you can move to the next stage of the process, which should be a Decision on your claim.

Best of luck
