Legal Aid is available in Scotland to prepare for the first tier tribunal and the Solicitor can get permission from Scottish Legal Aid Board(SLAB) to obtain a medical reports.

The calculator on the Scottish Legal Aid Board website will indicate whether you can obtain help. See link:

(Just incase anybody from Scotland thinks the legal system is the same!)

Would strongly suggest the Solicitor road if you can rather than Citizen Advice as the former can obtain a factual GP report and further medical reports.
