Veterans Agency was created by Chris
I have recently (in the last 2 months) written to the V.A. explaining that I felt my condition had worsened and wasn't going away. They sent a Doctor to my home who examined me and asked a lot of questions. I am waiting now for a reply from the V.A.
The Doctor was an ATOS Doctor, does this mean that I will be moved from DLA to whatever the new title is?
Thanks for any help
Chris

Hi C,
Reporting a deterioration/change in your medical conditions (A Change in Circumstances. (C in C) ) and resulting limitations/disabilities for DLA recipients can result in a fresh reassessment for PIP.
It depends on whether you live in Northern Ireland (NI) (Where PIP is not yet active) or if on mainland U.K., whether you live in a "Live PIP Area".
You should be able to see whether or not you live in a Live Pip Area from this :
PIP Postcode Map.
If you are not in a Live PIP Area, your DLA will be reviewed under existing DLA qualifying criteria.
For PIP, you can find further information on the following links :
PIP Claims Guide. (2nd Link on page)
PIP Self Test
PIP Topic Thread in Spotlight Area
As it seems that The VA have dealt with your C in C they should know whether it will be DLA or PIP.

Hi and welcome to B & W.
We used to have a moderator called Pete who was an expert on War Pensions. Sadly, he passed away last year at around 40 years of age. I'd advise you contact Pensions for veterans
Good luck.
Jim (former moderator & retired Welfare Rights Lawyer)
