Sorry me again...Has anyone found that they lose quite a bit of money on ESA compared to SDA..i'll be taxed as i have an occupational pension plus the esa and my partners Care allowance...also i believe if receiving HB and CT they can be reduced ...but I realise that at least for the time being i am lucky to have received ESA...thank you .

You could speak to a trained advisor, they can calculate your income from other benefit combinations, for example your husband could claim Income Support as a Carer, whether any of these are viable alternatives will depend on your personal circumstances and there are short and longer term issues that you would need to be aware of.
