PIP Question 8: Communication was created by MariW

Does “verbal communication” refer only to spoken communication or does the question also take in limitations involved in expressing oneself in writing?

From the PIP2 form

Please tell us about your ability to communicate with others.

This means:
· speaking to people in your native vocal language, and
· hearing and understanding what people are saying to you in your native vocal language.

So written communication is not included

PS - this is question 9 on the form not 8!
