We have been told by both AC & CAB that we would receive a Carers premium of £34 To replace my current Carers allowance but keep the full DLA amount.
Does that seem right ?
The Carers Premium is paid in conjunction to Carers Allowance, there should be no need for you to close the claim or for it to be closed because you are receiving PC, it should operate exactly as it does now with your ESA(IR).
