Following advice The ESA Claim (CB)was requested to be closed over the telephone. 3 letters have been received as a result. My P45,A Tax Summary for this year of ESA paid as it counts as taxable income, and lastly a ESA letter form letter detailing 'A Change in The ESA Allowance Rate Payable': namely from now on:None. It lower down describes itself as a decision letter & offers the chance to appeal.(Mandatory Reconsideration). BUT it also contains some sentences that has got me scratching my head. 1)"You have been entitled to a trasnitional addition since you were moved from IB.(To ESA CB)........ Because of this the money YOU WILL GET(????)may not have changed when your circumstances changed.(??????) What money? The years ESA is up.No ESA IR claim is being made.No more money is due what is money I will get? 2)"You are required to report change in circumstances if any immediately......" Why?I am no longer in receipt of Benefit completely off The Benefits system from now on why am I still beholden unto the DWP to keep them abreast of my 'circumstances'? Can you suggest if perhaps my LCW claim has not been properly shut down? I asked them. But if that's the case they wouldn't have me my P45 to start work would they?

I think it most likely that this is a standard letter that has been used and they have not checked that all of the content is applicable to your situation.
If a P45 has been issued then your claim has been closed.
