My daughter has a PIP application in - April 2014 - she is now at 25 weeks of waiting. She has just been moved from ESA WRAG to ESA SG - is this something she needs to inform the PIP about? Many thanks for all your help

Hi Ws,
It has been stated that the DWP will not use ESA Medical Reports as evidence in coming to a PIP decision.
However, if you are aware of the descriptor/s that qualified your daughter for The SG, and the limitations that fulfilled said descriptor/s these may be helpful in indicating that your daughter should also score points with the PIP descriptors, there is no harm in you informing the PIP Assessment Provider (ATOS or Capita) and The DWP PIP Decision Maker.
If you have the ESA Medical Report, and as stated above, you feel that this is supportive of the PIP Claim, you could also send copy of this.
If nothing else, an ESA SG Award does give some indication of quite a high level of disability.
