PIP and GO was created by apples6
Dear B&W
Does anyone know or can find out please if following
G Osborne 'Freeze of Benefits' speech at Con conference
on 29.9.2014.

Does the freeze extend to the PIP payment?

I noted that GO said not disabilities benefits but freeze for
working age benefits, However when one looks at PIP
r & regs it is called ''a working age benefit''even though one
(female particularly )could be age 64+ when one/if actually gets it.

Thank you in anticipation and again for all the great work you do

Hi a6,

If you read our News Article : Here.

It clarifies that PIP and DLA will not be affected by the "freeze".

Further, even though the Work Related Activity Component of ESA will be frozen for claimants in The WRAG, claimants in The SG will not suffer the same "freeze" on their ESA payments.
