Hi n,

You would receive the rate of the PIP award that you have requested the MR on, whilst the MR and any appeal if the the MR was unsuccessful, was ongoing.

If the MR or any Appeal results in an increased award then you would receive back payments for the difference from the date of the Decision that was challenged. This applies to all benefits, not just PIP.
