Hi,

PIP application lodged in March and still at the point of being looked over by ATOS. Lost count of the phone calls I have made for my partner. Every call I get told they are looking at the application.

Was a claim not to have had a yes/no by 26 weeks?

Frustrating!

I think there is an aspiration to complete the assessments in 13 weeks, as they did for DLA, but there is no timescale defined in the legislation, at the moment we appear to be up around 12 months although timescales are beginning to improve.

12 months! :evil:

No idea where I got the 26 week from. So we could be looking at next year before a decision.

Hi Charlie123 my PiP application was submitted in Feb this year, I had my face to face 6 months after. The 26 weeks if I remember rightly comes from info when you apply to say if you haven't heard anything by this time you can ring them for a progress report.
