A few years ago I went to appeal and won but I would like to avoid it if at all possible as it really didn't help my health at all. I am planning to request the reconsideration but state the reasons why the report was wrong and the points I think I should have scored. Will this be OK ?

Hi jp,
It is fine to point out any errors in the ATOS Medical Report, but it is important that you hightlight and cross-reference any evidence to The WRAG and/or SG Activity/Descriptors that you feel that you qualify for.
So, you can refer back to information and evidence that you may have already provided which may be contradictory to the comments within the ATOS report, then tie the comments/evidence in with the relevant/appropriate WRAG and/or SG Activity/Descriptor.
The easier you make it for the DM to see which descriptors you qualify under and why, the more chance of success.
