I Got Through

Had my Atos medical this morning. Surprised by several things. It was recorded (as requested but I expected it not to happen. Thank-you B&W for the template letter.

I saw a Doctor, even though M.E. is classed as neurological, I didn’t think it was on the list of conditions to be seen by Doctor.

The waiting room was comparatively comfortable with a good range of high backed soft chairs with arms.

The toilets were clean.

The staff, though not friendly - and T.B.H. I wouldn’t have wanted them to have been - were polite, competent and professional.

As said by many, the interview was repetitive and involved a lot of typing or tabbing.

Am I right in thinking it’s usually about 2-4 weeks before I hear anything back from the D.W.P. ?

Hi Susan,

I'm glad that the face2face appointment went better than you expected. There could still be delays with DWP but 2-4 weeks is probably a good place to start.
