letter i recieved today was created by scottishlemonade
I am currently awaiting medical results from ESA
I got a letter from them today saying how much I was entitled but using the dates April not june or july. the letter was dated the 4th july and I had my medical 2 weeks on Tuesday there past.
I went on ESA at the end of 2012 them moved into the support group February 2013.
the letter says my money is staying the same and not changing
the letter also doesn't say anything about my medical
I did try to phone ESA up earlier but after trying to get through for 35 mins I gave up
and I am now confused to weither its my medical results or not

Letters dated from April are usually concerned with the annual uprating of benefits although it is a little bit late in the year to be getting one of these.
It could be a result of a Decision being made on your claim, we have seen the DWP attempt to use these letters as a Decision Notice.
The bottom line I am afraid is that only the DWP can inform you as to what is going on, calling before 9am often avoids the queues.

I don't think you can read anything into the date of the letter, it is most likely the date it was printed.
Someone has posted on your topic earlier, wondering if the DWP were on strike today.
