Hi again.

I have today found out I have just been moved from IR-WRAG into the IR-Support Group (Income related, form the 28th June) after approximately 8 months of waiting due to a backlog, however I have a question about the dates.

At the bottom of the last page of the letter it has the amounts I'll be paid, then with the phrase. 'The amounts on this page apply from 28th June 2014 to 28th November 2014'

Does this mean I'll be reassessed on the 28th November? and I only have 3 months or is it the current ESA rates because on the first page of the letter it says my christmas bonus payment will be paid in December?

It's the latter! The ESA payment system is not sophisticated enough to handle the Christmas Bonus as part of the normal payment system, also entitlement to the Bonus is not determined until the first week of December and is then normally paid on the next payment day.

Oh great thanks Gordon, so I won't be reassessed in November, its just the Christmas bonus as a separate payment?

If you want to know when you will be re-assessed you call the DWP office that dealt with your claim, it should be on the computer, or request the ESA85 if you had an assessment or the ESA85A if you did not, the prognosis is usually used to set this date.

Ah yeah I know that my support worker will chase that up for me, so just to clear up (sorry mental health isn't exactly great at the moment) The November date is the rates not a reassessment date?
