ESA support group payments was created by Suebnm

I have made my initial ESA claim today. I get high rate mobility PIP(recent claim), no care component (only 6 points awarded) although I am awaiting a MR on this.

I will not get IR/means tested benefits. I am very sorry if this question is covered elsewhere.

Can you please break down what my payment will consist of if I get placed in the support group please. Thank you.

You will receive the ESA Assessment rate until a Decision is made on your claim, £72.40/week

When a Decision is made you will also receive a Component Allowance with backdated payments to the beginning of week 14 of your claim.

WRAG - payable only for 365 days including any time spent on the assessment rate.

£72.40 + 28.75 = £101.15/week

Support Group - no time limit

£72.40 + £35.75 = £108.15/week

If you have any pension income this may reduce the amount you receive.
