I filled the claim in. Provided a statement. The CPN just said social anxiety and referred for CBT that may help. However has a introvert personality, speak with GP for more information.

Partner gets headaches due to the blood pressure linked to the anxiety and panic attacks inside the surgery. Never speaks fully , frustrating!

I'm afraid there is no guaranteed formula to dodging an assessment, if there is one thing that will help, it is the support of your partners GP in writing to the Assessment Provider, confirming what negative effects your partner will suffer if they have to attend an assessment, even if it is one held in your home.

Hi. I applied for PIP in September and by March still had heard nothing. I contacted my MPs office and they contacted DWP and within 2 weeks I had an appointment for an ATOS medical assessment. Four weeks later I got my award enhanced care and standard mobility. I'm very pleased. The information from this site helped me a lot.

Good luck

The whole system is a joke! The fact it's costing more money is laughable. Inept people!
