ATOS - what to expect was created by K8
Hi, I have received a letter from ATOS to let me know my PIP claim has been referred to them for assessment. I am wondering whether to expect an assessment to take place at home or will I have to travel to them? Or is there no way of knowing until I hear from them?
Thanks
Thanks

Hi KB,
We have had a lot of queries on ATOS medicals, but few in connection with PIP.

Good luck

Most ATOS assessments for PIP are being done at their PIP Assessment centres, you can request a home assessment but you will need the support of your GP to write a letter explaining why you cannot attend.
There is a section towards the back of the PIP Claim guide that covers the assessment process.
