Tomorrow is D-day scared! was created by bottleofbest
Well tomorrow is assessment day for PIP, to say I am scared is an understatement. The wait has been torture. I will be glad when it's over.

I'm worried I won't remember everything to say. My wife has been going over the questions with me and I keep forgetting important information, like certain symptoms and things I can't do. My wife has to remind me.

Any tips for tomorrow? When they ask about a typical day how much detail do I go into? What do I say, where do I start!

Hi bofb,

Good luck for tomorrow !! :)

Please return to update us after the assessment.

As you may be aware, the PIP F2F assessment and what to expect is covered from Page 63 of our :

PIP Claims Guide. (2nd Link on page)

The assessment should follow a pre-designated format. Make sure that you concentrate on your limitations.

This is why the "Typical Day" is important as you can highlight the limitations that you suffer with respect to normal day to day activities.

Most reports that we have had from members Re : PIP F2F assessments have been positive.

Your wife can take notes of the proceedings.

Try not to get side tracked and don't let the assessor put words in your mouth.
