Hi all, I submitted my ESA50 form in June 2012 to transfer from ICB to ESA and by March 2013 I was finally told I had been put in the WRAG ( much to my dismay ).I immediately appealed, using my family solicitor as my representative for the intended appeal tribunal. Six months later I received the standard letter re ESA rates from April and it said here that they had looked at my claim again and mentioned that I was in the support group. I never received a formal letter to say I had been moved from the WRAG to support group but was still delighted I didn't have to go to an appeal tribunal! Just recently, on 1st May, I received an ESA50 form (two years after my last renewal) and was told on telephone I am up for "review". My question is - Is this just another word for renewal or is it different? Should I complete my form in exactly the same way as my last renewal (I have copies) with updated medical conditions etc since 2012, and should I still use your excellent ESA guides from Nov 2011 or is there an updated version I should download ??
Thanking you in anticipation for your advice and thanks again to all at Benefits and Work for the excellent guides and advice you give to those in need!

All benefits for sickness and disability review your health at a particular point in time, so you cannot rely on the DWP to take any consideration of any information that you have previously provided them, in fact it is quite likely that this information will not be available to either the ATOS assessor or the DWP Decision Maker,

Further, the ESA Descriptors and Regulations have been changed since you were last assessed, whilst these changes may not significantly change what you include on the form they may effect how you qualify for ESA.

I would recommend that you have a look at the latest versions of our ESA Claim guides.

and if you have any questions then reply to this post an we will do our best to help you.
