You can always make some notes to take into the assessment with you, although you may need to explain why you have done this.

Hi M,
Although the LiMA software used at a F2F in an assessment centre is not generally used for a Home Assessment, it will follow a similar format, so it may help to have a browse through :
ESA Medical – What to expect
You should be aware that an important aspect of an ESA F2F is observational, and that the HCP may make written assumptions from any observations.
Try not to get side tracked and don't be tempted to speak if there are any intervals of silence.
You should be handed a copy of the recording at the end of the assessment.
Try not to worry too much, the fact that they have agreed to a Home Assessment is a positive, as it is an admission that you cannot travel to an Assessment Centre.
Best of luck,

Hi M,
I think that you are speaking of the Exceptional Circumstances Rules for qualification for either The WRAG or SG of ESA.
For WRAG it is ESA Reg 29 :
ESA Reg 29 for entry to The WRAG (LCW)
PLUS Post 28/01/13 Amendment of :
(3) Paragraph (2)(b) does not apply where the risk could be reduced by a significant amount by—
(a)reasonable adjustments being made in the claimant’s workplace;
or
(b)the claimant taking medication to manage the claimant’s condition where such medication has been prescribed for the claimant by a registered medical practitioner treating the claimant.”.
From : www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2012/3096/regulation/3/made
In particular : ESA Reg 29 (2) (b) :
"the claimant suffers from some specific disease or bodily or mental disablement and, by reasons of such disease or disablement, there would be a substantial risk to the mental or physical health of any person if the claimant were found not to have limited capability for work."
You would have to prove that there would be a "Substantial Risk" to your health or that of another if you were not assessed as having Limited Capability for Work. (LCW) ( not placed into the WRAG, and found fit for work)
You would have to provide evidence that their maybe a Substantial Risk, this could be a letter of support from a G.P. or other Mental Health HCP. If you have evidence of previous efforts to self harm that may also help.
ESA Reg 29 will only be considered if you fail to qualify under any of the WRAG Functional Descriptors :
WRAG (LCW)Schedule 2 Descriptors
It is very similar for SG qualification only that is ESA Reg 35.
See my post from last night : Here.
Hope that helps.
