dear w and b team
i won my esa appeal recently and was put in the support group.i realise that it can take a number of weeks for my back pay and up to date payments to commence .please coud anyone advise whether I can apply for dla/pip in the meantime and any advice on how to commence? i wouldn't want to jeopardise my esa claim
kindest regards

It normally takes 6-8 weeks for the DPW to process a Tribunal result, but that does not stop you making a new claim for PIP, adults can no longer make a new claim for DLA.
To be honest the quickest and simplest thing for you to do is have a look at our PIP Claim guides and if you have any questions, come back to the forum, as it will explain the process in far more detail than I can easily do here.
