Hello can someone please tell me if my nephew were to claim carer's allowance would I still get the carers premium on my income related esa.
My wife is my main carer at the moment but due to illness she can no longer carry out her carers duty hence my nephew would become the main carer.
Any feedback would be welcome thank you.

In case you are not aware, your real name appears to be showing in the forum, if you want to change this then follow the instructions in the following FAQ

My full name is showing, how can I stop it?

As your nephew is not part of your claim for ESA(IR), your wife is, then I would expect you to lose the Carers Premium if he claims Cares Allowance.
