representation at ESA tribunal - where to turn? was created by Henry Chinaski
Hi... my ESA tribunal could be in weeks (or months) and I really need to get my ducks in a row as regards finding someone knowledgeable and trustworthy who can help me win it. I'm based in West Yorkshire; anyone have recommendations as to where to turn? My GP is being a tower of strength here, but it's someone on the legal side that I need to help me through.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi H,
I'm afraid that, due to funding cuts, it is getting more and more difficult to find help for tribunals. You could try putting 'welfare advice' and your area into web search engine. If your condition has a support group then they might be able to offer, or suggest, help.
Where to get advice?
Many of our members have represented themselves at tribunal, with success, so it need not be the end of the world if you cannot get anyone to help.
As an aside, I see that you have made a few posts before so I assume you have already been asked if your username is your real name? Should you wish to change it you can do it by following the steps in this FAQ
My full name is showing, how can I stop it?
