I am in the ESA work focus group and have a Job centre advisor who I have telephone interviews with.

I completed a medical form in October 2013 and I have heard nothing until a call from my advisor yesterday.

He has said they want me to take part in a pilot scheme with a healthcare provider. Having spoken to him he doesn't feel I am a suitable candidate for this. One because we are only conducting telephone interviews as a present I am unable attend in person and second I would not be able to take part.
He is sending out the relevant documents for me to look over and call him to discuss it. As my interviews are by phone were not able to go through this together at my interview on Tuesday.

He said he doesn't feel this is right for me and will be asking them to review my case with looking into putting me in the support group.

I have no information on the scheme they are considering me for, any help please.
If my advisor recommends the support group what are the chances of this on review? At present I am not due for reassessment for two years.

Hi R,

I take it that you are in one of The Pilot Areas :

www.gov.uk/government/publications/emplo...ot-provider-guidance

www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/upl...ogramme-memo-141.pdf

We hear quite frequently of JCP Advisers telling claimants that they should be in The SG.

However, it is up to The DWP ESA DM to make that decision.

Although, it sounds like your JCP Adviser is supportive, there is no guarantee that this will mean that you get reassessed and placed into The SG.

If you fail to gain access to The SG as a result of your ongoing reassessment, you could request a Mandatory Reconsideration. (once you receive written confirmation of the decision)

Then if unsuccessful, make an appeal to The Tribunal Service.

Mandatory Reconsiderations Explained
