Who is this guide for? was created by Anne
Dear Forum Members,
I have recently received a DLA 1A as my present award of DLA ends on 02/06/14. My question is which of your DLA Guides should I use to fill out the form?
Your Benefit and Work Guides re- MENTAL /PHYSICAL HEALTH Dated JUNE 2013 say:
"This guide is for you if you are already receiving Disability Living Allowance (DLA) and your existing award is due to expire before 24 February 2014. If your award is due to expire after 24 February 2014 then you will not have the opportunity to renew it, you will be invited to claim PIP instead."
Maybe it's because PIP has not reached my postcode yet that I've received the DLA form, but which of your Guides should I use do you think?
Thanks for being there, yours confusedly, Anne x

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

That is the guide to use, the original intention was that PIP "transfers" would go live across the whole country at the end of last October, but the roll-out is delayed and is currently only affecting about half of postcodes.
