My medical report says I have not worked in the last 5 years.

The Tribunal say my last work was more than five years before the assessment.

Why is it relevant?

I can only guess, but the vast majority of claimants claim benefits because they have no other choice, I am sure that everybody on the forum would be more than happy to be able to work rather than have a disability or illness that prevents them from doing so.

So if someone has not worked for some time as a result because of their conditions, then I would expect it to be considered as evidence in connection with their claim, however, it is important to remember that benefits are awarded because the claimant meets the associated criteria and this type of evidence is insufficient on its own to result in an award.
