PIP Appeal was created by Kaydee
Hi
I applied for PIP and was awarded the enhanced rate for mobility, but only given 6 points for the living allowance. I wrote to DWP and asked them to reconsider the decision. In December I had a reply stating that the original decision stands.
Can you advise me how I can appeal against this decision and what time frame do I have to do it in.
Many thanks

You normally have one month from the date of the Reconsideration letter to make an appeal to the Tribunal Service.
You should have received with the Reconsideration letter, two copies form confirming that you have gone through the Reconsideration process, the "Mandatory Reconsideration Notice", you need to send one of these and a completed SSCS1 Appeal form to the Tribunal Service.
Links to download the SSCS1 form are in our PIP Appeal Guide
