Question please.
I am having my appeal for DLA next week on the Isle of Man.
I have Nocturia which means I have to get up out of bed 3/4 times per night every night to go to the loo. As I have spinal sternosis and arthritus of the knee caps my wife helps me to get out of bed and waits till I return as I am in great pain from rhese issues.
In your opinion do you think I have a good prospect of being awarded high rate night care as it is repeated 3/4 times and I need help to get up ouy of bed.??? Many thanks.

We really cannot answer these types of questions, at best it would be an opinion based on virtually no factual evidence, at worst it could mislead you regarding your case.
Things you need to think about are whether your wife's attendance is required or convenient, I notice that you do not mention any assistance that she gives you while you are up. Ask yourself what would happen if she did not get up with you, how would that affect you, these are likely to be the things that the panel will investigate during the hearing.
