esa renewal

i am in the support group for contribution based esa. have had a new form sent to me. i would like to know if the esa 50 form has changed since december 2011. are the questions the same and has critera changed? my condition and disabllity hasnt changed at all. also can i do the form onlline?

Yes, the regulations, descriptors and forms have all changed since your last assessment. You should use the newest edition of our ESA guides to ensure that the information is correct.

ESA claims and appeals

You can use the PDF version of the form if you wish, you will have to save it to your computer before you are able to start adding information. This differs slightly from the latest version of the paper form, but it is the one that DWP are still using as a PDF version.

i have my old copy of esa 50 3/11 still. nothing has changed since last time. i have a long term chronic condition. in fact i am more fatigued and am in pain. doing another form would just cause me so much stress and illness. has it all changed or just bits of it?

I am afraid filling in the new form is unavoidable. You can use your previous form to refer to but clarify how your condition has deteriorated and that you have not learnt to adapt substantially to your condition.
