I am afraid two years is the longest you can be on ESA before being reassessed. Fill in the form as you would have originally giving as much detail as possible and not assuming the person reading it has knowledge of your case or access to your previous form. Explain clearly any changes in your condition. If your condition is much the same explain this and explain that your ability to cope with your condition has not substantially improved. Send up to date medical evidence with the form or as soon as possible.

Hi b,

Welcome to Benefits and Work :)

ESA awards will be reassessed at regular intervals, ranging from the minimum prognosis of 3 months, to the maximum prognosis of 3 years, see :

How often will I be reviewed

Therefore, it appears that it is time for you to be reassessed, so you must fill in the ESA50 and return it by the deadline date given.

You may wish to consider : Using The PDF Version Of The ESA50 Questionnaire

Whilst referring to the guides under the heading of "ESA Claims and Appeals - Current forms"

On this page :

ESA Claims Guides

Sending Documents to the DWP or ATOS

The qualifying descriptors were amended in January 2013, so the questions are slightly different to the ESA50 03/11.

You should treat this ESA50 as if it was your first, and don't rely on ATOS/DWP knowing how and why you qualified for The SG last time.

It is important to reiterate the reasons that placed you into The SG, making it clear that you have not learned to adapt to your limitations since your last assessment, nor have your limitations diminished since your last assessment.

Please repost to this topic if you have any further queries.
