DLA Appeal help needed please.

I was granted high mobility and low care.

The reasons why I have not qualified for medium care are

1. She can manage her personal care by day or night
2. She can move around safely indoors
3. She does not need somone to be awake at night to prevent danger.

It is stated that I disagree with the decission because I need help to bathe twice a day as its beneficial for pain and I cannot reach the bottom half of my body. On bad days I have problems moving around and answering the phone.

I was granted high mobility which means I cannot walk (pain and inflamation in joints) I have corneal erosions at night and need help to get to bathroom.

I need to know if I qualify at this amount of care needed and/or how I can find someone who can go through my papers with me to see if they think I qualify if it is uncertain? Thanks

I appealed but have just got the papers today. Would I be best seeing someone legal to see if I do qualify rather than going through with the appeal? Thanks.

As Gordon says, you will be better seeing a trained benefits adviser rather than a lawyer, many of whom have little understanding of benefits.
