Benefits and Work have updated our 61 page guide to Successful ESA to UC Managed Migration.
The updates include:
- Calculating the transitional element (page 33) – extra detail about what information claimants should have available if they are checking their award.
- Managed migration and other benefits (page 37) – reminder to check local council tax support rules as entitlement may be different when on UC.
- If you receive contributory-ESA (Page 42) – updated to reflect change to DWP website confirming CB-ESA claimants will have to agree a claimant commitment for NS-ESA
- New section: You were NOT receiving contribution-based ESA, but the DWP have now told you that you will receive New-Style ESA (page 53)
- New section: You are receiving New-Style ESA and UC at the same time and are finding this confusing (page 54).
- New section: The amount of New-Style ESA being deducted as income from your UC is different to what you actually receive (page 54)
