With the longer waiting time for an appeal to be heard shows that we are not sitting back and accepting an initial decision.
I appreciate that it can be frustrating when looking many months down the line but the wait will be worth it for a positive outcome.
Do not sit back and accept than I can not receive a benefit due. Use this site and any other tools you have to fight if you think you are right.

My appeal tribunal was almost a year to the day i appealed. They said it would be 4 months initialy. Don't just sit back and wait, gather all the evidence relating to your claim, you will need it.

Hi,
I put my appeal in in January....I was told that it wouldn't be heard before October due to high volume etc etc....but a few weeks later I had a date through for the end of June. So in my case it wasn't accurate at all.
Hope that helps.

Thanks, Zombii. The more replies I get, the more chaotic it all seems! Hearings can be many months later OR many months earlier than predicted. One thought: Did you tick the "can attend at short notice" box?
