ESA reassesment while getting dla

I still get the old Incapacity benefit and I am in the process of completing a dla form. If I was to get dla would I still be reassessed for ESA.

All current IB claimants are going to be assessed for ESA, and will be migrated between 2011 and 2014 if they pass the work capability assessment.

Being in receipt of DLA at whatever rate, will not exempt a claimant from the ESA work capability assessment.

i wonder when they move everyone to ESA from IB will it be income based? IB isn't

i have doubts if they can access everyone from incapacity to esa in there time scale and we do not know if this gov will still be in power hopefully not by then.
