UC Mandatory Reconsideration Current Wait Time? was created by Delphine
Hello everyone
Does anyone have an idea of the current time frame for a response to a UC MR request? It will be 15 weeks tomorrow that I made mine.
Thank you

Hi Delphine
I'm sorry, but there is no given timeframe for a response to a Mandatory Reconsideration for Universal Credit, and the DWP can take as long as they like.

Thanks for your reply. If I was successful with my MR would they automatically back date my money? Or do they change just the current rate?

Hi Delphine
Usually yes.....when there is a change or Supersession then the backdating is allowed to the start or Effective Date.
