Pip Extension

My PIP used to say 21 August 2020 for an ongoing period until after 29th January 2030 but it now changed to 21 August 2020 for an indefinite awards from pip entitlement dated 29th June 2026.

Will updated here if got letter from PIP about this awards.

Hi David,

Just called up PIP helpline and asked them is my PIP indefinite period from ongoing period? They asked me where did you get this information from? I explained about Govt One Login and downloaded proof of benefits for PIP and it tell me my PIP has changed from an ongoing period to indefinite period. They checked on the system and told me there is no change at all, just renamed from ongoing period to indefinite period is the same 10 years with light touch review come up after 29th January 2030. Also telling me all PIP wil never be lifetime awards even if it say indefinite period.

Sound disappointed at least they told me now. Roll on until 2030.
