cares allowance or carers element effect on universal credit

Hi
I am hoping somebody can explain the effect on me and my partners universal credit if partner claims either carers allowance or the carers element of universal credit

I am in the LCWRA group
partner is waiting for a wca decision after filling in wca50 form last year
partner has an elderly family member(seperate address) who is in receipt of the higher rate attendance allowance
my questions are
if partner claimed carers allowance or the carers element would I lose my LCWRA element from my universal credit?
what of the two benefits would cause the least disruption to our universal credit claim?

For anybody else in a similar postion it seems it's just a simple case of reporting a change in your online uc account stating the date caring duties commenced then they message you via your journal asking for the name and dob of the person in receipt of pip or aa

I forgot to add the health journey does not get cancelled it continues as normal it only stops if the claimant requests it to end
