I have just had a terrible UC review. The person had an issue which meant that they couldn't really interact properly with people.
It left me in tears. I've confirmed with other staff it was a mistake. I have no idea what to do. Someone please help.

Hi b7s7dh

Sounds like you had a horrendous appointment, your question is outside the remit of the forum, we would advise you to seek specialist advice from your local Welfare Rights Organisation: advicelocal.uk where they can take all your circumstances into consideration when giving you advice.

Thank you.

I have a rental increase letter per year as usual and have sent that on but apparently it's not enough.
During the review they asked for a letter from the landlord with the tenancy details and getting both tenant and landlord to sign it.
It this normal?

Hi b7s7dh

As far as the annual rent increase is concerned a signed letter from the landlord or letting agent is enough.
There may be changes when the Renter's Rights Act takes effect in the future though.

Let me know how you get on.

Thank you for replying. So this UC reviewer has made multiple mistakes and been trying to make excuses. This has now been confirmed as a supervisor spoke to them and correct them. They did not understand multiple normal things.

No letter was needed as the rental documents were enough and stated all the figures.
Also she then stated that a complaint cannot be made as there are no managers there.... which is odd.

Their mistakes were incredibly distressing.

Does anyone know how I can make a complaint against them?

Hi b7s7dh

Do you know how to send messages in your UC Journal?
You can send a message containing your complaint.
