New PIP form on legacy benefits was created by Maher
Hi. I'm on legacy benefits, and last was asked to do a light touch PIP form to 2026. Yesterday I received full PIP form. I'm on enhanced for both categories. As I am on legacy benefits why aren't they firstly asking to shift to UC ?
I am a campaigner, so I know I put my head above the parapet. I'm part on War on Welfare WOWpetition and @mmaher70 on twitter.
Last assessment was done by person coming to the house. I've got worse, and didn't tell them loss of sight, driving licence taken off me, and various other things as no one likes to poke the DWP. Will they use that as me not telling them changes health ?

Hi Maher
Separate departments deal with PIP and UC. I'm unable to tell you why you haven't received notice of migration, but I'm sure it won't be long.
Loads of people on enhanced don't inform the DWP of a deterioration in their health. The DWP will only have a dim view if they believe your health has improved and you haven't told them. I
I don't understand when you said you were asked to do a light touch form to 2026. Light touch reviews were introduced in 2023. Was this the AR2 ? And now you say that you have been sent a full PIP form - is this the normal review form AR1 or a PIP2?

Hi thank you. I wasn't clear I was sent a light touch form about a year ago. Following on from full form in 2021. I've been sent a full form this week.
Can I also ask, I phoned DWP for large print, after having phoned a week earlier and nothing done. I was given a new return date because of the delays, but haven't got a date on new form. The first page with date seems to be missing

Hi Maher
I would contact your local Welfare Rights Organisation: advicelocal.uk , they should be able to sort out your issues, they will also be able to help you complete your form.
