If your award is due to end in April 2026, you could be sent a review form any time from now.
If you are hoping to get an increased award - then you need to contact the DWP and say that you wish to submit a change of circumstances and they will send out a review form. Should you win an increased award, it will be backdated to the date that you told them about this change of circumstances.
If you don't think the deterioration in your condition will make any difference to your award - you have two choices and it's up to you which one you take. 1. You can write to the DWP and tell them of your deterioration and say that you informing them for information purposes only or 2. You can wait until your review. Although the DWP says claimants should inform them of any changes in their condition, many people wait until their next review.
