Hi there, I am on IR ESA and PIP and on most occasions I am not able to move over my front door. When moving over to UC, will I have to attend a face to face interview at the Jobcentre? Am I classed as being in the support group for ESA? I'm not sure where I stand on this if I cannot physically make it to the Jobcentre! Also, what is the 'journal' used for? Is this for us to keep a record of our job searches, even though I am on the higher rate of PIP? Am I being forced to look for work in order to survive, even though I've been on PIP for a long term disability for years?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated - this is all extremely frightening!
If you tell us the fortnightly amount of your ESA payment we should be able to work out if you are in the Support Group. Do you get the SDP or Disability Income Guarantee?
