UC Migration help regarding wifes health was created by CLINTIAN
Hi, myself and my wife are in the process of filling out the managed online UC form [so Joint], Husband is on Income related old ESA and in the support group, now on my wife’s to do list in the health part it mentions illnesses etc. [she is on pip] On Ability to work she is restricted so ticked Yes, the next questions says are you receiving ESA, Is this yes or no? I ask as husband receives ESA as a couple so would that be YES even though letters are always addressed to husband?

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi CLINTIAN
Unless your wife is a carer they are going to say that she needs to attend the Jobcentre and look for work. Has she ever had a DWP medical such as a PCA or WCA ?

Hi David, No she has not had any DWP medical or applied for ESA [she is on PIP Standard care],
So on ABILITY TO WORK [do any of your conditions restrict your ability to work] she should put NO
Thank you very much for your help
