Recording UC WCA was created by TMD
I had my UC WCA booked for tomorrow at 3.30pm (Thurs 13th Feb 25). However, I've made a boo-boo and have left it too late for them/me to record it. They are now going to reschedule my appointment and I will receive a letter in the post with a new one.
My question is:
Should I write something in my UC journal about it? The guy at Capita I spoke to today (Wed 12th Feb) said it wasn't necessary but I'm worried in case I get sanctioned and my money gets stopped if the DWP thinks I've missed my appointment without rearranging it.
Advice greatly appreciated.

Hi TMD
This is definitely not a sanctionable issue. So I would not worry at all. It is good that you are getting a letter that you should keep as evidence.
Hope this helps.

Capita called me on Saturday morning (15 Feb). I nearly didn't answer as I thought it might be a marketing call. It was an 0800 number.
I was asked if I am available to have my telephone WCA the following Saturday but said no as I need it to be in the week when my son can be with me (he works from home) and he has his children to look after weekends. I was asked if I could do it Sunday and again I gave the same response. I was then told I would get a letter through the post with an appointment 'in the next couple of weeks'.
I'll be glad when it's over but at least now I'll get March's money with my TP, which is good in case the worst happened and they find me 'fit for work' and make me live on the paltry standard rate.
I will do a MR if I get found fit for work but I'm assuming I would automatically get my TP stopped whilst the MR was going on and I would have to continue attending the job centre and be expected to look for work?

Hi TMD
If you are found fit for work then you would be interviewed by a Work Coach regarding rehabilitation into employment.
Your UC TP is not eroded by a decrease in UC. It is eroded by an increase.
