Hello all,

I am a disabled CLP Disabilities Officer, and I am putting together a response to the recent Govt/DWP propoganda around 'Fraud' in the Benefits process.

Despite the Bill they recently introduced in Parliament being about 'FRAUD and ERROR', it is nigh impossible to find any reference to, or figures for, DWP Error

I know in my personal nightmare through claiming ESA, the so-called 'Assessors' find us, BY DEFAULT, 'Fit for Work, and leave it up to us - with the amazing help of this wonderful website - to lodge an Appeal to get the outcome changed to the CORRECT one!

In my opinion. any SUCCESSFUL APPEAL by a Claimant constitutes a DWP Error,

I would therefore be extremely grateful if the wonderful people here at B&W could provide me with these figures and, if possible, links to the sources for these figures.

Many thanks, in advance,

David.
