Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hello Tired MUM,
They send two copies of the M/R decision because you may need to send one if you choose to appeal; however, I don't think you need to do this if you appeal online - I suppose they retrieve the information electronically. You still have plenty of time left to do this and you have already collected a lot of evidence. Since you weren't actually given an award, you aren't in danger of losing anything by appealing, so I would say, "Go for it." It is much easier to appeal online than I expected and you get an acknowledgment very quickly, then a letter in the post to confirm. We didn't actually get as far as going to a tribunal because the DWP revised their decision in our favour within a month of lodging the appeal and you may be lucky too. I was very worried about doing this, but found so much help and encouragement from fellow B & W members and the Moderators who helped with their valuable advice, that I would now advise anyone to give it a go!
Good luck and best wishes,
Wendy Woo

I really hate trying to do things online , just the thought of it makes me feel so stressed, physically sick even. Do I need to send everything else again , all the letters, reports and my MR report, apparently it's 16 pages long. I don't trust them to forward everything, how would I know if they didn't.

Hi TiredMum
You don't need to send all the information again. When you put in an appeal - the DWP have to prepare a bundle and in that bundle will be your MR information. If it isn't included you will have time to submit it yourself.
Try not to worry about the online form. You don't have to do it all at once. Even after you have submitted it you can send in additional information up to two weeks before your case is heard.
I know you're feeling shattered that you didn't win your Mandatory Reconsideration, but only 27% of people do. At the moment just under 70% of PIP Appeals are won.
