What does bank card mean? a photo of the physical card itself? or issue letter? or statement?
Also, why isn't bank card nor driving license listed in the official link below (updated may 2024)?

Who is right? You and the members guides or this official government link?

Hi Swiftness9480

A bank card does not mean anything apart from the bearer being over 18, I believe they are asking for a bankcard statement .

When applying for UC you have to prove who you say you are, prime documents are documents which have your photo on such as Driving licence, passport. Sub-prime documents are official documents which have your name and address on such as bank statements, council tax statement, rent statement, water/phone bill etc

Both are correct.

But on the link I pasted, bank card and driving license isn't listed, so which of these options are allowed for online ID?

Only "credit references or records – for example, information about credit cards or phone contracts" whatever that means?

Hi Swiftness9480

Here is the DWP guidance regarding online verification -

Evidence for online verification
You can verify your identity online by providing some information that only you would know, for example information about your passport or payslips.

You can use any 2 of the following items to verify your identity online:

payslips dated within the last 3 months
most recent P60
valid UK passport
recent Self Assessment returns
tax credits (including Voice ID)
credit references or records – for example, information about credit cards or phone contracts
If you successfully verify your identity online, you may not need the full ‘initial evidence interview’.

Hope this helps.

Does anyone know if there's a document that lists every question that could be asked as a part of this migration process? I'd like to know exactly what will be asked in advance so I can have answers prepared in advance of starting, especially as I read that starting the process triggers a one month deadline. Thanks.

Hi Gateway

The questions that can be asked during a UC claim are bunched according to the subject into To Do's. The number of To Do's as of 2023 were approximately 400. If you were to say quite unscientifically that the average number of questions per To Do were 20. Then if you wanted to preview all possible questions, that makes a total of 8000 !
