Hi Everyone I don't know if this letter suits the criteria for a response, but it is related to PIP and Winter Fuel Payments. My Wife was claiming Carer's Allowance for me until June of this year. She then went back to work for 22 hours a week and this pushed her past the threshold. At the time, we were not paying rent as it was covered for us - £100 a week. However, since my Wife has gone back, we now pay full rent (as I receive State Pension). I have heard we may miss out on the Winter Fuel Allowance because we are no longer receiving UC, but I have also heard we should receive it because I am on Enhanced rates of PIP. Can anyone clarify please? Much appreciated - Hugh.
