Telephone PIP was created by Csm
Finally had the telephone assessment, which was difficult considering your talking to a voice, not a person but having read the PV4 report they have put the totally opposite for her mobility and for the 7th time the DWP have 'cured' her ' degenerative' illness so, on paper, basically gone from full mobility to, by the looks of that report, zero points!
My question is. do we wait for the DWP to tell us by post or can we do something to complain that the PV4 is inaccurate.
Also is there a procedure where you can put a formal complaint against the HCP that carried out the assessment as clearly the information, they've put down is incorrect and dismissive of the documented facts.
One other question, we did record the assessment, covertly for our own records so we know exactly what was said, legally can any of this be used as evidence?

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi Csm,
It is a regular occurence for an HCP to put down incorrect information. It's happened to me on numerous ocassions, and hundreds of thousands of others unfortunately. You are best waiting until you get the copy of your report, which you can request after 48 hours, then go through everything, write down what's inaccurate, and then put in a Mandatory Reconsideration, with your reasons why.
I do believe you're allowed to record the assessment, but not sure on the "legality" side when it comes to using stuff against them - hopefully something can further elaborate on this for you.
Chris.

hi, having gone through this several times! we requested the PV4 report the next day to give us a head start! this is good practice and recommended! it arrived today and it reads like a car accident! the HCP is contradictory in their own 'assumptions'. this isn't the first time either! how the DWP can reverse a degenerative illness is beyond us , exactly what the judge said!

Just sending my sympathy over the DWP's miraculous, not, powers. three year awards for incurable stuff you were born with, etc etc...Hope it helps a smidge knowing you are so not alone,

Thanks, we are used to this and this time hoping to go to tribunal, rather than do the 'Deal' you get before the tribunal date. Hopefully common sense will prevail
